WorldShift is a science fiction tactical type game released in 2008 by Crytek Black Sea, the same studio that created Knights of Honor.
In the 21st century a mysterious object lands on Earth and ending all known civilization.
WorldShift is set thousands of years after the event, when human civilization is nothing more than a myth.
Remains mysterious object known as Shard Zero still plague spreads.
The human race has developed a new culture that is now living in five mega cities protected, but are struggling to survive from one day to another.
The remaining land is inhabited by tribes, successors of early humans have been infected by the plague, and an alien race called "Religion".
